Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica
PIA MidAmerica has 12 active chapters: eight in Texas, one in Kansas, one Missouri, two in Oklahoma. Each has an average of four to eight luncheon or dinner meetings a year on a variety of educational topics. PIA MidAmerica provides the educational semiars for the annual Southwest Graphics Trade Show.
Works closely with a variety of the secondary and post-secondary programs in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.
Chapter meetings. Annual Print Week banquets are held in January in three different cities and draw nearly 700 people. In April, the Graphic Excellence Awards Banquet draws 600 Dallas/Fort Worth attendees and 300 Houston attendees. The banquet in Kansas draws more than 100 attendees. Annual June Golf Tournament in Dallas supports educational foundation. Kansas City golf tournament is held in September. PIA MidAmerica provides the educational semiars for the annual Southwest Graphics Trade Show.
PIA MidAmerica has three regulatory/environmental experts on staff and provide consultative and training services (fee based.) PIA MidAmerica has a Credit Union with 11 employees, assets of $17 million and 4,700 members. PIA MidAmerica also has a "captive" insurance agency providing health insurance products to 200 member companies.
