Recruiting and retaining new employees in the digital age can be a painful and complex process. Today’s recruitment efforts begin online and it’s hard to know if your message is getting to the right people at the right time. That’s why the Printing Industries of America is launching the all new Open House Recruiting program. Its aim is to ease some of the pain and frustration that come with today’s hiring cycle by applying the latest technology to the process for you.

How does it work?
Step 1 – Determining Your Needs
Open House starts with a quick discovery call to determine what type of position you wish to fill and what type of candidate you think will fit best in your work culture. These details will help our team create your job posting.
Step 2 – The Right Place at the Right Time
Since there are more than 25,000 job search sites currently available online and countless more when you factor in social media channels, our team will determine where and when ad placement will count the most.
Step 3 – Virtual Introduction
In response to your custom job posting, prospective employees will create an online profile that allows them to virtually introduce themselves and answer a short series of questions via video. Once completed, the JobOn recruiters will vet all applicants and forward to you a package of potential candidates for review based on your search criteria.
Step 4 – Host your Open House
The candidates you have selected receive invitations to the Open House at your facility. They will see for themselves if the printing industry is a good fit for them. We’ll provide you with a list of suggested activities to give you the opportunity to get to know the candidates a bit more. From there, you can determine which candidates you would like to invite to complete the formal interview process.
