1.         Position Purpose

  • To manage Warehouse, & Transportation areas - including staffing & selection, organizational development, training & development, employee relations, safety, and policy development/implementation.

2.         Essential Functions & Principle Accountabilities

  • Supervise daily workflow in order to meet deadlines
  • Select, train and evaluate assigned employees
  • Coach assigned employees in order to meet performance metrics
  • Develop, implement & enforce policies
  • Monitor and order supplies for the warehouse
  • Interact with customer service, sales and product managers
  • Quote and arrange freight shipments
  • Act as a backup to the Warehouse Operations Manager
  • Dependability

9.         Primary Environment

    1. Temperature variations in Dock area are greater due to opening and closing of bay doors 
    2. Temperature & humidity are monitored during summer months as it can become stuffy. 
    3. Fans are located throughout Warehouse
