This report addresses how developments in global print markets are affecting the competitive situation and strategic thinking of U.S. printers. In order to address these issues, Printing Industries of America conducted a survey in cooperation with the Rochester Institute of Technology in late 2005/early 2006. Government data on U.S. printing imports and exports from the United States International Trade Commission was also gathered so we could present additional relevant economic information to you, our members. This report will be updated in the winter of 2009.
