PRINTING United Alliance is grateful to serve its members who make such significant impacts on the printing industry. Through our Member Spotlights, we continue to recognize our members, and help our community get to know their peers better, both professionally and personally. The following is a Q&A with a representative from Digital Data Centers, headquartered in Glendale Heights, IL.
Can you please provide a brief history / background on your company?
Since 1995, Digital Data Centers has been dedicated to providing Critical Document Delivery services, enabling organizations to enhance their cash flow management effectively. These critical documents include bills, invoices, notices, policies, and checks.
Through our comprehensive services, we facilitate the secure delivery of these documents via print, mail, email, and online platforms, creating a streamlined process that accelerates payment cycles for our clients by up to 50%. By partnering with us, companies can reduce their operational costs and improve their financial liquidity.
In addition to critical document delivery, our expanded offerings include Disaster Recovery Services, known as Business Continuity Centers, which provide businesses with a reliable backup solution in times of need. By entrusting us with these essential services, companies can ensure operational continuity, efficient governance, and peace of mind.
How do you sell your Critical Document Delivery Services?
Our Critical Document Delivery Services and Disaster Recovery Services are only offered and sold through distributors to their end customers. Traditionally, distributors sell on a project basis, executing the customers project such as printing or premium items. Representing Digital Data Centers’ critical document delivery services is different…and better. That’s because we work side-by-side with distributors helping to present and close the business. Because the service is ongoing, the distributor can count on the ongoing monthly business and commissions that go along with it. Let us help you make it easier for you to do new business with their customers.
Have you acquired any new printing technology?
We are always upgrading for better, faster, more efficient technology as we print millions of critical documents. One such printer is the move from toner based to sheet-based inkjets, which now prints 146 pages per minute in full color.
We continue to implement AI (Artificial Intelligence) into our software solution allowing us to reduce areas of development from something that would take an hour, down to just five minutes. Other areas of AI efficiency include distribution of critical documents such as email. Our mission is to be as nimble as possible for the demands of the distributors’ clients.
What are some ways Distributor Customers can benefit from your service?
One of the best methods to grasp the extent of our capabilities is through firsthand experience using the Portal. This centralized platform empowers faster customer payments, leading to a reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Moreover, improved communication with the distributor's customers is made possible through the seamless printing/emailing, delivering and tracking of invoices, statements, credits, and payments.
By utilizing features like digital document approvals, customers can guarantee process enhancement and workflow efficiency. Our comprehensive reporting tools, including email and mail tracking, offer insights to streamline communications and enhance overall satisfaction.
Why did you decide to join the Alliance? What resources do you plan to or have already utilized through your membership?
Digital Data Centers has proudly been a member of the Alliance for over 25 years, starting from its early days as the Business Forms Manufacturing Association. Maintaining our commitment to the organization has enabled us to cultivate long-term partnerships with manufacturers and distributors. These relationships are important to our organization, as we rely on distributors to sell our critical document delivery solutions.
Our goal is to allow our distributors to have a monthly on-going revenue annuity while allowing their customers to reduce their expenses, improve their processes and make it easy for them to do business with their customers.
