Fairfax, Virginia — Screen printers walked through the screen printing process day-by-day during SGIA’s consistently popular Workshop, “Totally T-Shirts! Garment Screen Printing: Basic to Advanced” which was held November 4–8. Industry veteran Charlie Taublieb, a recognized expert in decorated apparel, brought knowledge (and stories) right to the press for attendees.
“[The] industry experience, knowledge and stories were helpful,” said Beth Clark, of CustomInk LLC. “Moving to a new screen making process, it is extremely helpful to experience the techniques firsthand.”
SGIA’s insightful, five-day Workshop is designed for shops that want to step up their game to become professional and profitable garment screen printers. The Workshop allowed attendees to take an active roll in class by stretching, coating, exposing, and setting up the press, gaining a complete understanding of each process.
“I absolutely was giving up on any type of screen printing until I took this class. I learned more in five days than I have in eighteen years that I have been in the business,” said Dina Denning, of CSDI. “This was an awesome class and everyone was so willing to help and answer questions.”
The Totally T-Shirts! Garment Screen Printing Workshop returns in the spring, April 28–May 2, and it’s sure to fill up. Claim your seat today, and then sign up for SGIA’s email alerts to receive more information about upcoming Workshops, Webinars and other industry news.
