SGIA?s LinkedIn Group Reaches 10,000 Participants

For Immediate Release November 18, 2013 Contact: Kat Thomas, SGIA 703.359.1360 kat@sgia.org Fairfax, Virginia — Just last week, Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) LinkedIn group marked a major milestone — 10,000 participants, demonstrating a continued increase in the presence of our industry on the Web. SGIA is committed to serving specialty imaging professionals in the 21st century, and is working hard to expand that service through social networking. To celebrate this achievement, SGIA will randomly select ten lucky winners from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association LinkedIn group to receive a Full Business registration package* for the 2014 SGIA Expo (October 22–24) in Las Vegas. LinkedIn, “the world’s largest professional network,” is an essential asset to SGIA, helping to bring the greater imaging community together. SGIA’s LinkedIn group — as well as its subgroups for the Printed Electronics and Membrane Switch (PEMS) and the Professional Decal Application Alliance (PDAA) communities — represents the graphic imaging industry as a whole, providing a great forum to share experiences, ask questions and learn from experts and peers. To ensure integrity, every one of our more than 10,000 participants has been vetted to cultivate a focused, dedicated network of specialty imaging professionals. Recent discussion topics include:
  • RIP software suggestions
  • Choosing colors for graphic film vinyls
  • Printing profitably
  • New equipment at the 2013 SGIA Expo, and more!
