The Impact of SGP Certification

In the SGP Certified Facility Survey conducted by Appalachian State University, SGP certification proved to have a demonstrable and favorable impact on businesses environmental performance. 71% of respondents reported lower volumes being directed to landfills and 62% increased volumes of materials recycled. Of the business metrics assessed, certification has a positive and favorable impact on the business. 44% of respondents indicated their operating cost is lower following certification. 42% also indicated an increase in new client acquisition.
