Lancer Group International, manufacturers of the Excalibur and Evolution Series 2 brands of textile inks announces a major breakthrough in the reformulation of their Evolution Series 2 PVC-free and phthalate-free textile inks. The series will now be known as the “NX System”. Improvements over the previous formulation include increased wash-fastness, crock-resistance, inter-coat adhesion between colours as well as a vastly lower cure temperature to help resist dye migration on cotton/polyester blends or 100% polyester garments. Excellent results can be achieved making cold-peel transfers. The new formulation retains the Evolution Series 2’s advantages over other PVC-free and phthalate-free ink systems by offering printers a hand-feel similar to water-base prints with the convenience of all plastisol properties including opacity and colour consistency from beginning to finish of the production run. High-resolution designs printed through fine meshes are no problem as images in screens stay open throughout the entire print run because the ink will not air-dry and requires a full heat cure.
