xpedx, a business-to-business distributor of printing, packaging and facility solutions products and services, is pleased to announce the broadening of its digital papers portfolio with the addition of two new synthetic papers, PoliPrint Xerographic Polyester Paper and YUPOBlue for HP Indigo.
PoliPrint, which is designed for high-heat, dry toner production equipment such as Xerox iGen and Kodak Nexpress, features a specialized coating for excellent toner adhesion, making it well suited for most environmental conditions with resistance to water, grease and other contaminants. Because of the durable nature of PoliPrint there is no need for secondary post-print laminating, which saves additional expense and time.
YUPOBlue, a premier synthetic paper optimized specifically for HP Indigo presses, carries a three-star certification rating from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Unlike other synthetic substrates for HP Indigo presses, YUPOBlue does not require surface treatment prior to printing, saving both time and money. Its soft, tactile quality has the look and feel of a luxurious silk paper. Among synthetics, YUPOBlue offers dimensional stability and is 100 percent recyclable, waterproof, and tear and stain resistant.
