M&R Donates i-Image STE II to SGIA?s Screen Printing Technical Foundation Lab

M&R recently donated a new i-Image STE II imaging & exposure system to SGIA’s Screen Printing Technical Foundation (SPTF) Lab. SPTF is the non-profit research and educational affiliate of SGIA, and it is dedicated to “Advancing Screen Printing Through Education & Research.” In explaining the donation, M&R CEO Rich Hoffman said, “SGIA’s Screen Printing Technical Foundation is an integral part of the screen printing industry, and their laboratory is home to important research projects, tool development and hands-on workshops. We are highly supportive of these efforts and we remain committed to helping the foundation further its mission. i-Image STE II was honored as ‘Innovative Product of the Year’ in the Pre-Press category at the 2014 SGIA Expo and we felt certain one would help further the foundation’s goal of staying on the cutting edge.” In accepting the i-Image STE II, Johnny Shell, SGIA Vice President of Technical Services said, “M&R’s donation of the STE II to the SGIA lab has been great! We strive to keep the lab in state-of-the-art condition, and I believe this donation makes our workshop program the best available." “Heretofore, we've been using a metal halide exposure system; however, we now have leading-edge technology to share with our students. We are able to show how the i-Image STE II can improve productivity and overall yield to keep screen printing a viable platform. M&R continues to introduce technology that enables shops to stay competitive.”
