Barbieri Donates Equipment for SGIA Training

Fairfax, Virginia — Barbieri Electronic (SGIA member since 2014) has generously offered to donate their SpectroPad Textile Edition to SGIA for use in training workshops and with the Association’s Digital Equipment Evaluation program that provides members with unbiased data and information on wide-format inkjet devices. “I am excited to have the SpectroPad available to enhance the training we offer and as an addition to our toolbox for use with the digital equipment evaluations,” said Ray Weiss, Digital Imaging Specialist, SGIA. The SpectroPad Textile Edition will be demonstrated in the upcoming Operation Sublimation, Mission: Wide-Format Graphics (June 3–4) and Color Management Boot Camp (August 25–27) workshops, both taking place at SGIA’s state-of-the-art laboratory in Fairfax, Virginia. Attendees of both workshops will not only learn new digital printing technologies, but will be able to get hands-on experience using advanced equipment — thanks to Barbieri Electronic. Donations like these not only help the Association, but also drive the education of the industry. Do you have equipment or materials you’d like to donate? Contact Ray Weiss for more information.
