INX International Ink Co. has introduced new water, solvent and UV-based flexo inks. The various inks can be used for multiple substrate options for tag and label, pouch and sleeve, corrugated, envelope, carton and bag.
INX Infinity and Synergy III flexographic lamination inks are formulated for high press speeds of 2000 feet per minute. Both solvent ink systems perform well and print cleanly for general-purpose snack food packaging.
Leading the new UV flexographic products are INXFlex UV ITX-Free Shrink 70 and INXFlex UV CLM II. INXFlex UV Shrink inks provide minimal swell for flexographic printing and are specifically engineered for high-strength and extreme shrink, up to 70 percent. Suitable for most tag and label, pressure-sensitive and in-mold label applications.
INXFlex UV CLM II Low Migration process inks are formulated with low migrating photo initiators, have low migration characteristics for indirect food contact and are in compliance with the Swiss Ordinance and other regulatory measures. INXFlex Low Migration also prints with less plate swell on most tags and labels, pressure sensitive, shrink and in-mold label applications.
INX DuraINX is a solvent flexo ink system for outdoor bag applications on standard treated polyethylenes. The system is formulated with special high-performance pigments and components to impart high-fade, gloss, scuff/rub resistance, non-skid properties and print durability for outdoor exposure.
The AquaTech ION Label systems are water-based flexographic printing ink formulations. Ideal for narrow to mid-web flexographic printers who produce for tag and label customers, they print on anilox rolls up to 1500 lines per inch.
