2015 SGIA Expo Breaks East Coast Record

For Immediate Release November 12, 2015 Contact: Renee Simpson, SGIA 703.359.1310 renee@sgia.org Atlanta, Georgia — This year’s SGIA Expo (Atlanta, November 4–6) redefined the meaning of success for specialty imaging. Each day, the more than 23,000 registered participants (a new East Coast record!) lined up outside the Expo doors hoping to be among the first to hit the well-known SGIA red carpet. “If you’re looking to improve, expand or revolutionize your shop with the latest technology the world has to offer, than the SGIA Expo is where you want to be,” said Heath Lollar, Designer at Extreme Printing and Signs and 2015 Expo attendee. “If you’re looking for education classes, business management or marketing solutions, then the Expo is where you want to go. If you have the opportunity to attend the Expo, I strongly encourage that you visit the companies, both large and small, that have served our industry for decades.” On the trade show floor, the biggest names in the industry hosted worldwide debuts of new printer lines, the most high-tech inks and never-before-seen applications. Exhibitors at every turn were showing off how quickly their machine could finish a garment; displaying the most accurate color on outdoor banners; or showcasing the newest technique in dye sublimation. But even over the hum of running machines, buzzing conversation and future business deals could be heard. “This is my 17th show, and it’s been one of the best. We’ve seen a lot of high-quality contacts come through and even some direct projects.” said David Haas, Proell, Inc., a 2015 exhibitor.
