Sawgrass Donates Dye-Sublimation Printer for Use in Upcoming SGIA Workshop

For Immediate Release December 13, 2016 Contact: Renee Simpson, SGIA 703.359.1310 renee@sgia.org Fairfax, Virginia — Sawgrass (SGIA member since 1998), a leader in the dye sublimation and digital ink industry, has generously donated a Virtuoso 25-inch 8-Color HD Product Decorating System dye sublimation printer to be used in the state-of-the-art laboratory at SGIA Headquarters. “When we heard that SGIA was hosting an event focused on wide-format graphics for sublimation, we wanted to play an active role in making that happen,” said Dimple Patel, Vice President of Product Development at Sawgrass. “Our team will be there to help new sublimators learn about how they can create banners, soft signage and other interior applications with the Virtuoso 25-inch 8-Color HD Product Decorating System. We want to give them a hands-on experience that will get them excited about the possibilities for their businesses and help them feel confident working with sublimation technology moving forward.” The new printer will be used in the upcoming Operation Sublimation, Mission Wide-Format Graphics Workshop (May 2–4, 2017).
