Former Macy?s VP Joins GSP As New Executive Creative Director

GSP, a leading retail services provider, announced today that retail veteran Margaret Sotrop has joined its Design Services team. As the new Executive Creative Director, Margaret will oversee everything from campaign development to visual merchandising. With a 25+ year career leading design, visual merchandising and photography teams, Margaret brings visually stunning shopper experiences to life for great brands. She comes to GSP at a fortuitous time – on the heels of GSP’s biggest year ever for store remodeling and reimaging projects. Margaret will further drive the company’s mission of being known as a one-stop shop for retail environments. Margaret joins GSP from Kreber, an omni-channel retail marketing agency. As their VP Creative, she led a team of designers, photographers and stylists developing print, store display and e-com solutions. Margaret worked with many top retail clients including Bed Bath & Beyond, Scotts Lawn & Garden, Party City, and JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores, among others. Prior to Kreber, Margaret was the VP of Home and Storewide Creative at Macy’s, where she oversaw creative on a national level across print and online media. She built successful client merchandising strategies and vendor partnerships with Kate Spade as well as Macy’s private labels of Martha Stewart Living, Hotel Collection and INC, a millennial brand. Margaret will report to Steven Cohen, Vice President of Creative Services, who has been steadily growing GSP’s Design Services offerings to help retailers stay competitive. Since his arrival in 2010, GSP has added a professional photography studio team specializing in foodservice and still life, and nurtured a concept design team that creates omni-channel campaigns, store remodeling projects, visual merchandising and more. During this time, GSP has also won 20 design awards for helping its retail clients improve the store experience. “With her wealth of experience, Margaret is a wonderful addition to the expanding GSP Design Services team,” said Steven. “I’m confident she will strengthen our strategic capabilities even more with her fresh perspective on redefining retail environments.” ABOUT GSP Founded in 1978, GSP is a retail services provider located in Clearwater, Florida, with three regional production facilities (Clearwater; Provo, Utah; and Madison, Wisconsin).
