SBA's Safety and Health March 16th Roundtable

The Small Business Administration’s Safety and Health Roundtable, held March 16th , provided SGIA with important updates regarding OSHA’s Injury Tracking Regulatory Program.  The electronic submission of data is required for all printing establishments with 20 or more employees.  Currently, OSHA is collecting 2017 data, based on facilities’ submission of their Form 300A data.  Data must be submitted by July 1, 2018.  Information on OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application can be found here:  https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/index.html OSHA also emphasized the recently released enforcement guidance on failure to submit electronic information.  SGIA previously reported on this guidance https://www.sgia.org/government-watch/first-know/government-updates .    2016 data was due to OSHA by December 31, 2016.  Over 214,300 300 Form A’s were submitted.  The portal to submit 2016 data is now closed, but facilities are encouraged to submit their 2017 data early.
