The HP Indigo Pack Ready system enables digital converters to print, laminate and produce high-quality flexible packaging applications by drastically reducing turnaround time with an easy and food-safe lamination solution.
Luxefilms, the specialty thermal laminate films brand by Nobelus, complements the HP Indigo Pack Ready System output by enhancing digital package designs without the need for an offline process.
Nobelus is demonstrating Pack Ready lamination output with its LuxeFilms at the Dscoop Conference in Orlando, Florida, March 24-27.
The Knoxville, Tennessee-based Nobelus began an alliance with HP Indigo more than eight years ago with the successful introduction of its patented Sleeking Technology designed especially for HP Indigo digital print.
As the alliance grew, Nobelus recognized the growing needs of HP Indigo clients and soon expanded its innovative thermal films to include solutions for HP Indigo’s commercial, photo, folding carton, flexible packaging and label markets.
Coinciding with HP’s introduction of the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press and its mission to focus on the digitally printed flexible packaging market, Nobelus thermal laminates were validated and endorsed for the HP Indigo Pack Ready System, which includes the Karlville Laminator.
“There are a lot of synergies between HP Indigo and Nobelus,” says Allon Maoz, Director of Supplies, Media and Materials for HP Indigo. “Nobelus have developed unique solutions for Pack Ready, from their LuxeFilms family, including Platinum PET Gloss, which offers high gloss and durability, and Karess Matte, a unique solution that provides a tactile soft touch that is very popular with brands. These are just the solutions our customers need and desire.”
