SGIA’s Safety Recognition Program helps members learn about, implement and track safety and health issues in their facilities. The program also assists companies in identifying their OSHA compliance obligations. It encourages participants’ awareness of safety concerns by awarding points for actions such as creating an emergency plan, holding employee safety training sessions, posting SGIA safety tips and conducting workplace inspections.
SGIA Safety Recognition Program awards are presented annually, with the three participating companies scoring the highest number of points receiving special note. Further details on taking part along with necessary OSHA and other forms and information are available by visiting sgia.org.
