JOB SUMMARY
Operates delivery elevator to receive printed sheets from lithographic offset press.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives job assignment from Offset Technician (Offset Press Operator).
- Monitors the stacking of printed sheets in lifts or piles, operates the delivery elevator to remove a sheet or pile, install pallets, and winds and/or jogs sheets to prevent sticking and set-off.
- Inspects and reports any printing irregularities to press operator.
- Lubricates press and assist in cleaning blankets, dampers, fountains, and cylinders.
- Operates press periodically under the direction of Offset Technician (Offset Press Operator).
- Air sheets and make piles when necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Carries out conduct and leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to management, outside resources, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
