Job bar codes are scanned at each station to track the progress of an order including in the art department, at the Synergy pretreat, at the printer, at the FireFly dryer and at quality control. It also maps the artwork of an order with regards to placement and size specification.
Because the operator does not have to enter settings, mistakes can be avoided. Also, the operator focuses on loading and unloading the machine vs. reviewing and inputting settings for each order, so productivity is increased.
