Fairfax, Va. — The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has appointed Amanda L. Kliegl to the position of Vice President of Public Relations. Kliegl has extensive industry experience, having spent more than 10 years with HSPR, representing a wide range of printing and graphic arts clients.
As Vice President of Public Relations, Kliegl will work to further awareness about the extensive resources and offerings that SGIA provides to members and the industry as a whole. She will be especially focused on communications efforts surrounding PRINTING United, the groundbreaking new trade show built upon the robust foundation of the SGIA Expo.
PRINTING United is being held October 23 - 25, 2019, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The PRINTING United experience will provide an unprecedented display of print technologies, programming and services that all support convergence in the marketplace.
James Martin, SGIA Executive Vice President, Supplier & Manufacturer Relations, said, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Amanda in different capacities over many years. Having had the opportunity to see her talent, dedication and enthusiasm first-hand, I know she will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to the SGIA team. We are elated to have her on board.”
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve SGIA and its members as Vice President of Public Relations,” Kliegl said. “With all SGIA has to offer, in addition to the exciting period of growth and opportunity with PRINTING United, and more; the timing is impeccable. Having the chance to be a part of the next phase of convergence in the industry is both inspiring and invigorating. I am greatly looking forward to further enhancing this already dynamic organization.”
