Great Dane Graphics Offers New Artwork For DTG Training Book

The secret to being successful with a digital direct-to-garment (DTG) printer is in the graphics. By becoming proficient in Adobe® Photoshop®, apparel decorators can create the optimal type of artwork needed for DTG printing and wow customers with impactful, eye-catching designs.

A new training book entitled “Artwork for DTG Printing,” offered by Great Dane Graphics, is intended to do just that. It is written by Dane Clement who has been speaking and writing for the decorated apparel industry since 1987. He is considered an expert on computer graphics and color separations for digital DTG, textile screen printing, dye sublimation and heat-applied graphics.

This 136-page training manual walks readers through every stage of the process from setting up and creating the design to advanced layout ideas for raster artwork and photographs. It includes step-by-step lessons that demonstrate specifications, techniques and ways to easily create intricate, sophisticated designs that will set one's company apart.

Decorators will also learn how to create graphics more quickly and output designs that print smoothly with high-quality results. This can reduce downtime and eliminate the trial-and-error process of perfecting a design while in production.
