Fisher Textiles Expands PPE Lineup with Face Mask and Gown Fabrics

Fisher Textiles, the leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, has added two face mask and two gown fabrics to its personal protective equipment (PPE) fabric line. Products include the 1095 Face Mask, 2806 Mirco Mesh, and GF 7400 Blue Gown, which are sublimatible, washable and reusable, and 50 gsm PP Dark Blue — a non-printable and disposable Polypropylene.

1095 Face Mask, is a great basic face mask fabric. It is 100% Polyester with a soft hand, slight sheen, and economical price point. It weighs 6.8 oz/lyd and is stocked on 60˝-wide rolls.

2806 Micro Mesh is a microfiber pique that is 100% polyester and made in the U.S. It has a nice stretch for face masks and gaiters, weighs 7.3 oz/lyd, and is stocked on 64˝-wide rolls.

GF 7400 Blue Gown is a light blue tricot warp knit with a DWR treatment that meets ANSI/AAMI Level 1 requirements for minimal risk isolation gowns to be used during basic care, for standard isolation, as visitor gowns, or in a standard medical unit. It is made in the U.S. and is washable up to 30 gentle washes. It weighs 4.3 oz/sq. yd. and is stocked on 122˝-wide rolls.

50gsm PP Dark Blue is an SMS non-woven fabric that meets ANSI/AAMI Level 3 requirements for moderate risk isolation and/or procedure gowns to be used during arterial blood draw, or when inserting an IV line, in the emergency room, or for trauma cases. It weighs 47.5 g/sq. m and is stocked on 60˝-wide rolls.
