Serge Ferrari Group is pleased to announce that three more of its composite membranes have achieved GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold certification for Indoor Air Quality. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) confirms Decolit 251, Decolit 251BW, and Decolit 411 coated fabrics meet strict international standards for low chemical emissions.
Studies by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other researchers have found that volatile organic compounds (VOCs), used in the manufacture of building materials, are common in indoor environments. In high concentrations or with long-term exposure, these VOCs may cause building occupants to feel unwell or become sick. The reduction of chemical emissions in a building, through the use of GREENGUARD certified materials, helps to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure, while aiding in the creation of healthier indoor environments.
Decolit coated fabrics are a popular choice for indoor advertising such as retail/POP displays, wallcoverings, and exhibits where excellent color rending is required. These dimensionally stable fabrics stay flat and will not curl or stretch over time. Decolit 251, Decolit 251BW and Decolit 411 are also fire retardant, and recyclable at the end of their service life.
