In the UV category, attendees can get a firsthand look at Roland DGA’s recently launched VersaUV LEC2 S-Series flatbeds and belt-driven hybrid models. The new 30-inch and 64-inch belt-driven hybrids use a conveyer belt to transport substrates along the bed to a stationary gantry, enabling them to print not only on flexible and rigid materials but also on roll media for maximum versatility. Booth visitors can also see the next-generation VersaUV LEC2 Series printer/cutters – roll-to-roll inkjets with integrated contour cutting that optimize image quality, increase print speeds, decrease ink usage, and make user operation and maintenance easier than ever.
Roland DGA will be demonstrating its latest eco-solvent machines as well, including the third-generation TrueVIS VG3 and SG3 series wide-format printer/cutters — state-of-the-art machines that take image quality, color control, productivity, and ease of use to a whole new level. Also on display will be the new compact, powerful, and incredibly affordable VersaSTUDIO BN-20A desktop eco-solvent printer/cutter. The new BN-20A incorporates the popular features of the best-selling BN-20 printer/cutter without the white ink channel, enabling Roland DGA to offer this “business in a box” at an even more attractive price.
Those attending the Expo can also check out other unique Roland DG UV printers, such as the VersaUV LEF2-200 benchtop flatbed and the IU-1000F high-volume UV flatbed. Roland DGA’s LEF2 Series flatbeds, now available with new Rotary Rack attachments for printing on cylindrical items, are capable of printing directly on a vast array of substrates and three-dimensional objects, making product customization and personalization simple. The IU-1000F combines outstanding print quality with unsurpassed production capability, allowing users to print directly on a wide variety of materials, including 4x8’ media boards, with amazing speed and precision.
In addition, Roland DGA will conduct live, in-booth vehicle wrap demonstrations daily featuring the experts from Digital EFX Wraps. This year, the Digital EFX pros will be using a TrueVIS VG3 Series printer/cutter to wrap a new Ford Bronco.
