Three new hires announced
SCODIX, ISRAEL – February 23, 2023 – In answer to the growing demand for more economical and sustainable embellishment printing, Scodix is assertively expanding its global team and business development infrastructure with the appointment of three new people to its team.
The new hires come on the heels of significant recent growth for Scodix following the release of the Scodix Ultra 6000, powered by SHD. Many print and packaging providers have invested in this and other Scodix systems, appreciating the proven business case to replace analog embellishment methods, whilst also enjoying the sustainability upside.
“We are thrilled to welcome Slawomir, Paolo and Xavier to our team,” says Mark Nixon, EVP Sales and Marketing. “Their extensive experience and knowledge of the industry will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business. Since we introduced the larger B1/41-inch format some time ago, and now with the quality boost we’ve given to Scodix Foil™, we need the additional support to meet the needs of packaging and publishing printers. Our team is set on the path to disrupt analog embellishment methods.”
With proven track records of success in their respective markets, the new appointments bring years of experience and expertise to Scodix. As the new Sales Manager for France and all French-speaking countries, Xavier Bastie will be responsible for expanding Scodix’ footprint in the French market. After graduating from a print school in France, Bastie has spent his 23-year career in various positions in the graphic arts industry.
Paolo Tettamanti, the new Italian Sales Manager, will lead the company’s sales efforts in Italy. Enjoying over three decades in the graphic arts, Tettamanti has held various positions in multinational companies, more recently moving from traditional analog printing systems to digital printing technologies.
Meanwhile, Slawomir Iwanowski will focus on building and managing global channels for the company in the role of Global Channel Director. His extensive experience in generating growth in revenue and profitability from direct and indirect sales comes from leading print technology companies including HP, Xerox and Kodak.
With the addition of these new team members, Scodix is well positioned to continue its growth and success in Europe and beyond. The company’s commitment to economical, eco-friendly, and innovative embellishment will remain at the forefront of its operations, ensuring that businesses continue to receive the best possible solutions for their print enhancement needs.
