This tour provided a unique opportunity for these valued clients to gain a deeper understanding of Komori’s advanced printing technology and manufacturing capabilities, further reinforcing the strong partnership and shared commitment to excellence.

An Immersive Look at Komori’s Manufacturing Process
The visit began at Komori’s Yamagata facilities, where the group toured two unique plants. The first plant, dedicated to the production of Komori’s digital inkjet presses, half-sheet offset presses and G37 platform, offered a glimpse into the cutting-edge innovation driving the company’s growth in the smaller format markets. The second facility, Komori Machinery Co., Ltd., focuses on the production of high-precision gears essential to the performance and longevity of Komori presses. These gears, manufactured with extremely tight tolerances, are critical to achieving the level of accuracy and reliability Komori presses are known for.

Following their time in Yamagata, the group traveled to Komori’s flagship Tsukuba Plant. There, they had the opportunity to witness the full production line of Komori’s offset presses and engage with the engineers and operators responsible for assembly and quality control. The visit provided a unique behind-the-scenes look at how Komori’s legendary Lithrone series presses are made and validated before being delivered to customers worldwide.
