Agfa Anapurna H2500i LED Used to Produce Kitchen Panels

Duropanel in Lochem (Netherlands) recently installed a new Anapurna H2500i LED hybrid inkjet printer. “We have opted for this wide-format printer from Agfa because it can be used to print on materials up to four meters long”, says technical director Maarten Waaijenberg. “We print a lot of rear panels for kitchens, which can be ordered through our webshop www.PimpYourKitchen.nl .
This business is growing fast. We used to outsource these jobs. Since the arrival of the Anapurna we produce these specialist assignments in-house. Of course we also use the new printer for other large-format print and sign productions. The Anapurna extends our existing print production capacity.” Waaijenberg: “When deciding on this solution, we didn’t skate on thin ice. Through Igepa, our supplier of media for our our sign productions, we arrived at Agfa. Apart from what I already mentioned, also Agfa’s Asanti workflow software was a decisive factor. It fits in our striving for automation.
Furthermore, it was important that all our employees can use the printer and the software. The entire solution is extremely intuitive and very productive as a result. We print using LED UV inks, which means the prints are immediately dry; this enables a rapid conversion for the following jobs. This also increases our efficiency. Then there is the print quality. I can be brief about it: it is top. In the end you only know what you get once you have it in house. With the Anapurna H2500i LED hybrid inkjet printer, we have acquired a solid and reliable printer, which will bring us a lot of benefits. I can state this with confidence based on our first experiences.”
