Jack Stack to Speak at SPIRE 2019 Renowned executive and author will teach business owners how to engage their employees.
Fairfax, Virginia — The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) continues to strengthen its agenda for SPIRE 2019 (San Diego, February 24–26) with the addition of featured speaker John P. (Jack) Stack, President and CEO, SRC Holdings Corporation. “Jack Stack is an icon and one of the most important speakers we have ever had come to SPIRE. His abilities as an executive and as a teacher are proven by the heights he and his company have reached,” said Terry Corman, CEO, Firehouse Image Center and Co-Chairman, SPIRE. SPIRE is an exclusive conference by SGIA for top-level executives from leading wide-format graphics companies. It’s known for fostering a strong learning and sharing environment where printers from related markets can connect over top-of-mind topics. Stack’s two sessions at SPIRE 2019 will be geared toward helping business owners inspire their employees to think and act like owners. He will use his open-book management program to teach attendees how to improve employee engagement and increase overall profits.
The program — which has been recognized by CBS and PBS and received the National Business Ethics Award and the Business Enterprise Trust Award — teaches managers and executives how to close the gap between themselves and employees, and gives everyone in the company a voice in influencing how the company operates. “Having Jack Stack at this year’s SPIRE makes it a must-attend event,” said Corman.
“His teachings have inspired my business. I’m thrilled to have him on SPIRE’s agenda.” In his 39-year tenure with SRC, Stack has turned the company into “one of America’s most competitive small companies,” according to INC. magazine. His book “The Great Game of Business,” will be the foundation for his presentations at SPIRE.
Stack’s string of accolades also includes recognitions such as being named to INC. magazine’s “Smartest Strategists in America,” Fortune Small Business magazine’s “Top 10 Minds in Small Business,” and ReMaTecNews’ 2014 ReManufacturer of the Year. “We can’t wait to see what Jack brings to SPIRE 2019. His techniques, forged in the trenches of a manufacturing setting, have proven results and have led companies toward increase profits and employee engagement,” said Corman SPIRE 2019 will be held at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego from February 24–26. Admission to the conference is by invitation only. Visit our website to learn more.
