Job Summary

Manages and directs a screen printing and/or digital imaging company toward its primary objectives, based on profit and return on capital. Leads and directs a management team in the development, production, promotion, and sale of company's goods and services. Establishes operating policies and goals that support the company mission statement, and directs the preparation of long and short term plans and budgets by performing the following duties personally or through assistant management personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes current and long range objectives, plans, and policies.
  • Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
  • Oversees the adequacy and soundness of the organization's financial structure.
  • Reviews operating results of the organization, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective system of communications throughout the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of vice presidents, directors, and/or managers. Responsible for the supervision of non-supervisory personnel. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; five to ten years administration experience in screen printing and/or digital imaging plant operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to a variety of audiences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply the principles of advanced mathematics and statistical theory. Ability to work with complex mathematical and statistical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
