Press – BREAKOUT. Using various characterization targets and software. Compensating (if necessary) for paper color variations, measuring anomalies, etc.

1:00 pm: LIVE DEMO: Verifying Press or Proof Accuracy – BREAKOUT Measuring the color-managed P2P and IT8.7/5 targets during live press and proof production. Comparing and analyzing results.

& G7 Press Control – BREAKOUT Live print production featuring offset, digital, wide format, and textile printing methods. Includes calculating custom target CIELab values for actual stock color by SCCA method.
3:00 pm: Lecture: G7 Compliance
4:00 pm: Lecture / Discussion: G7 Quality Control (Press & Proof) Using G7 in daily production. Printing to numbers vs. printing to the proof.Analyzing proof / press accuracy with IT8.7/4, P2P and ISO 12647-7 targets. Tolerances and process control discussion.
