Fairfax, Virginia – Johnny Shell, SGIA’s vice president of technical services and Marci Kinter, vice president of government and business information, will present at the Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS), January 18–20, 2013 in Long Beach, California. Learn about the latest Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issues, garment inks, color-matching processes and screen making tips from SGIA’s industry experts.
Marci Kinter will be leading the way to better safety during her Let’s Talk Safety session. OSHA has issued several new and important regulations that impact all facilities in our industry and it is critical to make sure that companies’ safety plans includes these updates. Topics to be covered include new changes to the “Right to Know” program, forklift training requirements, recordkeeping and more.
Johnny Shell will be holding three sessions of educational expertise: Specialty Garment Inks — Uncovering the Mystery will look at a wide range of specialty inks used for screen printing on garments; Secrets to Great Color Matching will explore the fundamentals of color and delve into the key aspects of successful color matching; and Keys to Screen Making Success presents correct screen making methods the pros use that are required for consistent printing results.
ISS Long Beach brings together buyers, suppliers and manufacturers in screen printing, embroidery and graphic design.
