ColDesi Inc. and TSC Apparel have announced they are joining together to bring awareness to their 2 newest product lines, the ProSpangle spangle transfer machine from ColDesi, and the new Tultex brand of blanks from TSC. The ProSpangle is a commercial spangle transfer machine. Spangles are similar to a Hotfix sequin, but with no hole in the middle, so it has significantly more reflectivity or “bling.” One of the biggest differences between a spangle transfer and the more common rhinestone transfer is the way they feel. Spangles are perfectly smooth vs. the texture of the rhinestones. “Every ProSpangle sample we send out is now applied to a Tutlex woman’s t-shirt,” stated Mark Stephenson, Director of Marketing for ColDesi. “One of the things that customers can’t tell from a picture of a spangle transfer is how soft, and how reflective the holographic material is. It’s important that when we send samples out, that they be on the right garment.
