All entries must be received by July 31. Submitted work is eligible for the following awards:
  • Award of Excellence First place winners within each category will receive an Academy Student Achievement Award
  • Certificate of Merit An honorable mention may be awarded from each category
  • Best in Show Two exceptional entries (one from each division, secondary and post-secondary) will be chosen from the Award of Excellence winners, and honored with Best of Show (and a cash prize of $500 to use toward their graphic arts education). Instructors will also receive $500 to use toward their school’s graphic arts educational program.
This unique opportunity takes students’ work to the industry, where Academy experts evaluate their best projects, and provide inroads to future employers. To be eligible, instructors must hold an active educational membership with SGIA, and all entries must be produced during the 2013–2014 school year.
