Global Imaging, an integrator of wide and grand format printing systems, has been named the North American distributor of Impulsa Sewing Machines, announced Global’s CEO, Greg Lamb.
“With the addition of the Implusa sewing machines and accessories to our portfolio, we can now offer our customers an excellent finishing product that is often the most overwhelming hurdle for shops entering the fabric printing market,” he said.
Based in Germany, Impulsa manufactures a breadth of sewing and finishing equipment and has been in business since 1949 when they patented the first steam iron. Global will be distributing two of its sewing machines, along with various sewing work stations.
The Synchromatic ECO 200 is a 2-meter chromatic machine with a Juki head. It sews continuously without breaks and with automatic reverse sewing at beginning and end. The conveyor and sewing speed are synchronized and an automatic thread cutting and continuous thread tension system achieves perfect results in hemming and SEG sewing.
The Synchromatic ECO NA 300 is a 3-meter automated sewing machine with an advanced Durkopp Adler sewing head and up to a 10 meter conveyor system. A turning table can turn pieces when needing to sew on each side and because of the fast speed of the sewing, a needle cooling element keeps the thread from burning. Both units are perfect for sewing heavy or light materials.
