Fairfax, Virginia — The 2014 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 22–24) will draw the best of the best in the specialty imaging industry with its esteemed
Golden Image and
Product of the Year Award competitions, and the deadline to submit your entry is almost here.
The Golden Image competition celebrates those companies that rise to meet the industry’s high standard of excellence. Winners gain international acclaim and every entrant is considered for the "Best of Show" (digital, garment, and graphic screen printing categories) and "Best in Creativity" (digital printing). In addition, each entry is eligible for one of these four awards:
- The highly-coveted Award of Excellence (Gold)
- The Award of Distinction (Silver)
- The Award of Merit (Bronze)
- Or a certificate of Honorable Mention
The Product of the Year competition — for SGIA Members only — recognizes the latest equipment and supplies currently on the market in 2014 that are advancing the specialty imaging community. The most innovative products will be awarded Product of the Year honors within these five categories:
- Digital Inks
- Finishing (three sub-categories)
- Media (seven sub-categories)
- Screen Printing (four sub-categories)
- Test Print Shootout (output devices)
Don’t wait!
The submission deadline for both competitions is October 10, and all entries must arrive at the SGIA Depository in Las Vegas by October 15. Both competitions will be judged in the Golden Image gallery on Tuesday, October 21, where all entries will be displayed in front of thousands of Expo attendees throughout the show.
