Fairfax, Virginia — The one-of-a-kind Totally T-Shirts! Workshop (March 30–April 3) returns to SGIA’s state-of-the-art laboratory in Fairfax, Virginia for an in-depth week of hands-on training for garment printing professionals of all ability levels. Each day of the Workshop promises intensive presentations followed by interactive demonstrations. Charlie Taublieb of Taublieb Consulting will guide you through a full range of instruction and methodology, including:
  • Advanced screen-making techniques
  • Artwork and separations
  • Press setup and registration
  • High-end shirt treatments
  • Print troubleshooting
Attendees of the Workshop will get to practice their learned techniques on the new i-Image STE II by M&R, which was generously donated to the SGIA lab after the 2014 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 22–24). “I believe this donation makes our workshop program the best available,” said Johnny Shell, SGIA’s Vice President of Technical Services. “Until now, we've been using a metal halide exposure system; however, we now have leading-edge technology to share with our students. We are able to show how the i-Image STE II can improve productivity and overall yield to keep screen printing a viable platform.” Don’t wait — space is limited for this highly anticipated Workshop, so register now!
