SGIA President Michael Robertson Announces Retirement

Fairfax, Virginia — SGIA Chairman of the Board Tim Markley announced today that Michael Robertson, after 33 years with SGIA and nearly 15 years leading the organization, will be retiring in 2016. In making this announcement, Mr. Markley expressed congratulations on behalf of the SGIA Board and its deep appreciation to Mike for his years of service and untiring commitment to making SGIA the successful and highly regarded Association that it is today. In keeping with SGIA’s mission to continually strive to be the foremost resource for information and education within the specialty imaging industry, the Board has designated the Executive Committee to serve as the Search Committee to find Mike’s successor. Also, to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, the Board has engaged the services of JDG Associates, Ltd. (Rockville, Maryland) to assist the Committee in its work.
