For Super Cheap Signs, of Austin, Texas, the addition of the Novus Synergia H/UV printer has assisted their business with high-quality production output. The order-online sign shop relies on speed and accuracy, and offers customizable yard signs, banners, stickers, car magnets and other printed materials. “We often handle print jobs of 250, 300 and 500 corrugated plastic yard signs a day,” according to Jeff St. Amour, Operations Director.
“We decided to purchase the Novus Synergia because we were experiencing rapid growth in our business, and we wanted a product we could depend on for service and speed. Plus we liked the price and the warranty terms,” he said.
After seeing the product at the Global Imaging booth at a trade show in 2014, they were so impressed they purchased the floor demo. Global Imaging is the sole North American distributor of Novus Imaging products, among other wide format equipment. The Synergia H/UV is Novus’ hallmark product. The 3.2 meter combination flatbed and roll-to-roll printer boasts a patented RW Warp Engine and production speeds of up to 3000 square feet per hour. The Synergia is a true hybrid that can be handled unattended roll-to-roll. Its innovative belt design, full grayscale device and variable drop technology.
Since the Synergia purchase, Super Cheap has maintained its fast turnaround times and has been able to reduce the price it charges its customers for full color prints, which has resulted in larger quantity orders. “Reliability of the machine (up-time) enables us to meet order due dates and keep up with our promise of a quick turnaround,” St. Amour said. “We have increased our production by 50 percent because of the speed and efficiency of the Synergia.”
