Paradigm Imaging is pleased to announce that there is a new 150W laser tube upgrade option on the SID XL 1390 Laser Engraver. The SID XL 1390 laser engraver comes equipped with a 100W laser tube, however there is now a new 150W upgrade option that utilizes CO2 laser tube technology. This upgrade allows the SID XL 1390 laser engraver to cut through thicker materials and engrave at faster speeds.
The advantages of CO2 laser tube technology in comparison to other laser tube technology in the market mainly relate to the cutting speed when processing thicker materials. The CO2 machine is faster in a straight line and also has much faster piercing times at the start of the cut. There is also the advantage of a smoother surface finish with the CO2 machine when cutting thicker materials.
The U.S. manufactured sensors and precision laser cutting head ensure the precise engraving of the finest details, such as circles only two millimeters in diameter. The laser tube and power source undergo rigorous five-step testing to guarantee optimal beam quality and power reliability.
