CET Color, a manufacturer of wide-format UV flatbed and hybrid printers, announces the latest in their line of equipment. The Direct to Corrugated printer is a state-of-the-art corrugated printer that features Kyocera print technology featuring 2,656 nozzles per head. This unit prints up to 492 feet-per-minute on cardboard 0.43 inches thick and is 61.4 inches wide.
Javier Mahmoud, CET Color Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says, "The packaging market is craving something new. They have been waiting for a machine that can literally eliminate make-ready time. We spoke to one client that said, "you will save us at least 1.5 hours in-between jobs and the ability to do variable data for the packaging industry is something this market will really enjoy." CET Color is morphing into a leader when it comes to technology; we have had this project in our crosshairs for quite some time. Being able to see it grow into reality is really something for the company to be proud of."
CET Color offers a complete line of wide-format UV printers, as well as a recently introduced flatbed cutter, for use on a broad range of substrates. Their 80,000 square-foot facility, located in Atlanta, includes an extensive warehouse and printer assembly hall, in addition to a large demonstration center.
