Brother DTG Wins European Digital Press Association Award For GTX

The Brother DTG GTX Printer was recognized as a European Digital Press Association (EDP) Awards winner during FESPA 2018 in Berlin, Germany. One of more than 120 entries in seven product categories, the GTX was named “Best Direct to Garment Printer” in Large/Wide Format Printing. The GTX was among 29 products honored for their technological developments and innovations within the preceding 12 months in the 12th annual contest. EDP, an association of Europe’s 21 leading trade magazines covering digital production processes in 27 countries and reaching over half a million readers, has sponsored the competition since 2007. One of the goals of the EDP Association is assisting to find product solutions that meet the requirements of a demanding production environment. Each year, submissions to the EDP Association Awards are evaluated and judged by the specialists and experts of the EDP Technical Committee on criteria including achievement, quality and cost efficiency, with nominated products going on to a final round of examination. At the Awards Ceremony 2018, EDP Association Klaus-Peter Nicolay, pointed out that in the 12 years since their inception, the EDP Awards have become the "most prestigious and valuable technical award for the digital production business in Europe.” But this year’s EDP Awards was global in scope and character, with winners and finalists representing more than a dozen countries, from Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, North America and beyond.
