Parallax Digital Studios, a leading large-format print provider, has invested in the first superwide HP Stitch S1000 dye sub production printer for textiles in the U.S., expanding its capacity to supply soft signage and décor items.
The new 126-inch HP Stitch S1000 dye sub printer allows the Georgia-based Parallax to deliver high-quality color and quality across its HP Large Format portfolio with higher productivity and substrate flexibility.
The Stitch printer at Parallax joins the recently acquired HP Latex R2000 Plus Printer for rigid and flexible substrates, and existing HP Latex 3500 Printer and HP Latex 360 Printer. Parallax offers comprehensive graphic large-format display services including for corporate branding, exhibition and event graphics and signage.
“Parallax Digital continues to grow its HP Large Format portfolio, taking advantage of HP innovation to expand applications and boost productivity,” said David Clevenger, President, Parallax Digital. “The new HP Stitch printer delivers continuous high-quality prints on paper and fabric in addition to easy color matching.”
The HP Stitch S Printer Series, printing at up to 2,370 square feet per hour, enables print service providers to boost digital print production of textile applications in the soft signage and interior décor markets, including backlits, frontlits, curtains, upholstery, cushions and lampshades.
The four-color HP Stitch S1000 using HP Dye Sub inks and HP Thermal Inkjet printheads brings a new level of innovation to high production companies by enabling fast speeds, high uptime and unattended shifts. Fully automatic maintenance ensures optimal image quality without user intervention, while saving time with easy media loading and unloading by a single operator.
