One of the latest additions to the STAHLS’ “Get This Look” series is a video and a step-by-step PDF demonstrating how to personalize fan gear. Viewers can learn how to decorate a sports umbrella and a collapsible camping chair with graphics created and applied with only a vinyl cutter and a heat press.
Included in the video presentation is a handy list of the accessories and supplies needed for this specific application. It also shows a demo of the material being cut and weeded. An important tip illustrated in the video is the use of two different size platens during the application process. Using the appropriate platen size speeds up the process.
For the chair, an 11-by-15-inch platen is used, which is replaced by a 6-by-10-inch platen for the umbrella.
