With STAHLS’ video series “Get The Look” apparel decorators can learn about the hottest trends and latest techniques in heat applied graphics. A recent installment is entitled “Embroidery With Digital Transfers.”
This project uses a CAD-PRINTZ® Perma-TWILL™ digital transfer to achieve the look of appliqué without the lengthy sew time. The sew file creates the stitch design outline so apparel decorators know where to place the transfer. The back is sprayed with adhesive and positioned within the outline. It is then sewn down with a zigzag stitch.
Offer embroidered appliquéd apparel for teams and spiritwear customers without a huge stitch count and in much less time than if the graphic were fully embroidered.
