Brother DTG Offers Barcoding Capabilities for Synergy + Firefly Via Linx Production Software

With the Brother DTG barcoding capabilities, available via Linx Production Software, decorators can speed up production, help reduce errors, offer mass personalization and make small orders more profitable as high-volume digital direct-to-garment print shops.
The Linx program allows decorators to create and track bar codes of every order from start to finish. Job bar codes are scanned at each station to track the progress of an order including in the art department, at the Synergy pretreat, at the printer, at the FireFly dryer and at quality control. It also maps the artwork of an order with regards to placement and size specification.
Because the operator does not have to enter settings, mistakes can be avoided. Also, the operator focuses on loading and unloading the machine vs. reviewing and inputting settings for each order, so productivity is increased.
The software also sorts orders by product type for inventory management. And when a job is complete, Linx generates a shipping label through an online shipping software and alerts customers of tracking information.
