Orbus Exhibit & Display Group®, one of North America’s leading wholesale suppliers and manufacturers of display, exhibit, graphic and event solutions is proud to share that it has spent the last six months fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and recently presented the organization with a donation of $9,000. Fundraising efforts included company-wide casual dress buy-in, shamrock grams and a chili cook-off.
In order to make fundraising efforts successful, Orbus’ Social and Cultural Committee organizes events throughout the year in support of a designated charity. The second half of 2019, Orbus will be fundraising for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the Andrew Grene Foundation and host its annual Toys for Tots drive. Events and activities will include casual wear buy-in, manager dunk dank, an ice cream social, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Orbus employees can also look forward to annual, just-for-fun Halloween celebrations including a costume contest and desk-decorating contest.
“It is so rewarding to be able to fundraise and provide assistance to these outstanding charities,” said Giles Douglas, President & CEO of Orbus. “The team is thrilled to contribute as they are able and we try to make the events and activities as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.”
