Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, announces a strategic change in Northeast business focus.
Mimaki USA has consolidated its Northeast presence by closing the Boston area office and expanding sales, support, and applications capabilities at the state-of-the-art Rockaway, N.J. Technology Center. Supporting and enabling the adoption of digital print technology through education, localized service, and ongoing development of a value-added Northeast dealer network is central to the Mimaki USA ideology. To support this, the company has continued to invest in regional Technology Centers across the Americas, including the recently expanded New Jersey Technology Center. This expansion makes it possible for existing and prospective customers to not only see the newest and most innovative digital inkjet printing solutions but also work alongside dealer sales and application specialists to preflight their specific applications prior to purchase.
To ensure continued growth and support for dealers and end users, Mimaki is always reevaluating how it operates and, at times, that evaluation to improve efficiencies leads to decrease existing redundancies. Recently, one such review resulted in the decision to consolidate the Boston and New Jersey locations. “We believe this consolidation and investment in the Northeast is the right decision for continued growth in the region” says Naoya Kawagoshi, president, Mimaki USA.
Continuity of sales and service in the region will continue under the leadership of Mike Trotter, Northeast regional manager.
