Vycom, a market-leading manufacturer of highly innovative plastic sheet products, today announced it has expanded the Celtec line by adding Black to its DigiLiteTM family of light density PVC sheets. Celtec DigiLite is Vycom’s latest PVC sheet product designed specifically for use in the sign and graphics industry offering value and performance in a light-density signboard.
The DigiLite line — available now in Black as well as White — provides quality and performance in an economical sheet that is approximately 15% lighter than Celtec premium signboard sheets, offering a more cost-effective solution by reducing shipping costs and providing ease in handling. DigiLite sheets offer superior ink adhesion for digital and screen printing processes; they can also be stained, varnished, laminated, and cut. DigiLite sign materials offer superior UV performance and a satin finish that is ideal for light-duty applications such as exhibit signage, point-of-purchase displays, indoor and outdoor signage, decorated store fixtures, and more.
DigiLite Black sheets can also be reclaimed through Vycom’s Recycling Take-Back Program that captures and recycles printed and unprinted PVC sheets, as well as scraps and drops from finishing and fabricating. The program is designed for users of PVC, acrylic, PE, and PP products — in coordination with authorized partners to support collection — to recycle used signage and scrap. Material is returned to Vycom facilities and recycled into the company’s various products, ensuring they do not end up in landfills.
